By having the chance to interact with children and teenagers through conducting study, she gained extensive knowledge and practical experience in developmental psychology. As a result, she realized the importance of parenting in terms of its influence on children\u2019s emotion and behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to her service at BQNF, she was a tutor at S.K.H welfare society, working with students with variety of learning difficulties \u2013 including Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia. Besides conducting lessons at classroom setting, she also worked with their families by catering their needs and providing parental support.<\/p>\n<p>Since May 2014, she has started her career at Brain Quotient and Neurofeedback Technology Center (BQNF) Mong Kok Branch. Her aims are to facilitate students\u2019 psychological heath and develop strong bonding with their families through contributing her expertise and Neurofeedback technology. In long term, she hopes to expand her knowledge and assist more families in needs.<\/p>\n<p>As a mother, she understands the strong urge that most parents in Hong Kong are experiencing, which is to help their children to succeed. However, she also perceives that parents ought to provide enough freedom and encouragements to foster the development of psychological resilience, which helps children to endure hard times.
